Product Technology

Created by YONEX in 1980, the ISOMETRIC head shape is a unique and evolutionary breakthrough technology in racquet design. In conventional racquets, the sweet spot is located where main strings and cross strings meet. The YONEX ISOMETRIC head shape allows us to increase the number of main and cross strings that meet in the centre of the racquet to produce a sweet spot which gives a 7% more effective hitting area for you to make match winning shots.

YONEX I.P.S. (Integrated Power Weight System) technology places weight at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions of the frame to give the face a greater moment of inertia.
YONEX introduces a technological breakthrough in tennis racquet performance. MICRO CORE is an evolutionary new higher density foaming urethane which adjusts racquet weight and provides both face stability and unbelievable power.
MICRO CORE is injected directly into the top and wider areas of the frame to produce greater vibration absorption and improved feel, meeting the demands of today's top players.

The deeper grooves in the 3D Vector Shaft improve racquet stiffness and reduce twisting of the frame for 20% more face stability than a conventional racquet* - delivering precise control at impact and greater bite for the most efficient transfer of power.
|
VCORE shaft cross section: Less twist with a deeper groove. |
Conventional shaft cross section: Susceptible to twisting due to square shape. |
|
VCORE: Point of impact 1) Reduces impact force for greater face stability. 2) Achieves precise control with greater speed. |
Conventional racquet: Point of impact 1) Impact causes shaft twisting. 2) Less face stability with less accurate control. |
* Tested by YONEX.

YONEX O.P.S. (Oval Pressed Shaft) manufacturing technology builds the ideal amount of shaft flex at impact into the racquet, extending dwell time for enhanced ball spin and directional control.

The Super Cushion Grip minimizes vibration. The cushioning performance of the grip helps protect the wrist, forearm and elbow against shock-induced injuries.
